The Geos Group is delighted to have acquired Pressick Commercials, a repair and maintenance centre in Middlesbrough, specialising in heavy goods vehicles.
Pressick was established nearly 30 years ago, it has excellent facilities and a team of fully qualified mechanics. Bringing it into the Geos Group enables us to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks at Mini-TANKERS – a Teesside-based company providing an onsite refuelling service to businesses operating mobile machinery and generators across the northeast.
In addition to looking after our own vehicles at Mini-TANKERS, Pressick also repairs and maintains trucks and trailers on behalf of a network of businesses in and around the local area. It offers routine servicing and MOTs, alongside a full range of other services and products for heavy goods vehicles – including tyres, brake testing and repair, VOSA standard safety inspections, WABCO and Knorr-Bremse servicing, Haldex and electric systems diagnostics, air conditioning maintenance and more.
One of the reasons why the Geos Groups stands out in the energy and logistics sector is that we have control over our supply chain and distribution infrastructure. This long-standing strategy extends to our fuel storage tanks and refuelling facilities, our two cargo vessels that sail up and down the east coast and around the Scottish Highlands, and our growing fleet of road tankers. Now, we also have the capacity to service and maintain our own trucks – bringing an essential element of our operations into one coordinated business.
